PARENTING TO SUPPORT YOUR MIDDLE SCHOOLER

Parenting through the middle school years can feel like a rollercoaster—one day your child is your biggest fan, the next day you’re “so embarrassing.” This session will give you tools to strengthen your connection and communication with your child during these transformative years. We’ll explore:

  • The difference between belonging and fitting in—and why it matters

  • How to show your child you see their potential (even when they’re pushing you away)

  • Strategies for navigating social media, technology, and new influences

  • How to set and hold boundaries with empathy and clarity

  • Practical ways to build trust and keep the lines of communication open, including creative ideas like a “No-Talking Journal”

You’ll leave with actionable tips for creating a safe, supportive environment where your child feels seen, heard, and guided—even when they roll their eyes.
